Remember this from the early internet?
The original DMOZ directory has been discontinued. A new website does not need to be submitted there.
What does DMOZ mean?
DMOZ was an editorially maintained web directory, also known as the Open Directory Project. The original service has been discontinued; submitting a listing there is not a current SEO step.
AN EXAMPLE IN PRACTICE
Where you might encounter it
